3-5 The Care Project. This free family learning weekend at Roslyn Retreat, Richmond, VA, is a wonderful opportunity that open to families with deaf/hard-of-hearing children ages 0-3. Presentations, Q & A, discussions and panels. Childcare provided. All modes of communication will be represented. (Several NVCSA members will be on panels or volunteering.) 17-18 DoMore24. This 24-hour online fundraising campaign runs from noon to noon and is organized by the United Way of the National Capital Region. Can you contribute $24 to support NVCSA’s mission in the Capital Region and defray costs for Cue Camp Virginia? Learn more at www.DoMore24.org.

26-28 Opening Doors, Unlocking Potential. Virginia State conference for Educators and other Professionals in fields related to deafness. There is a one-day self-advocacy program for deaf/hoh high school students. Google ODUP for more info. NCSA/NVCSA will have a display booth at the conference.
